Well I got this Glock 21 (.45 ACP) OD green when I was in Iraq, ordered it online back in May or so of 08 and shipped to my dealer close to my house where it sat for 6 months in his safe and then transferred to me when I got back. I ordered the 30 SF (also .45 ACP) and an AK as well all of which sat in the safe too waiting my return. The holster is a Bianchi #19L which is actually made for a Glock 20 (10mm), but fits the 21 very well. I brought it out of hiding cause it will turn cold in Houston soon (though its damn 93 degrees today!) and I can wear it OWB with a jacket. Anyway here are a few pics:

Also, yesterday I shot a 22-250 at some beer cans about 200 yards away propped on a stick. I hit one of the cans lower left! Yes, it has a scope and the scope is dead on. I was just really wobbly even propped on a fence post. But if it was an animal or whatever, I would have hit it, as a beer can at 200 yards is pretty damn small.

The snap is beautiful and actually the snap is where you push it towards your body since its right hand version I can unsnap while grabbing my the Glock to take it out. Basically I can have 3 fingers on the grip while my thumb unsnaps then I can pull the gun out. The belt I use is a Beltman belt 1.5 inched wide, its a tight fit but the holster and gun gun wont move at all. I dont know if you are familiar with Beltman but they are great beltmakers and VERY stiff and sturdy. I use the same belt for IWB with the Glock 30 SF. Heres their site:

I got the 1.5 bullhide with 7 holes at 3/4 inch apart and square black buckle to match the belt (black) with no velcro and not tapered. About 80 bucks and they dont make it till you order it so it took a few weeks if I remember correctly. The gun is loaded with Speer Gold Dot +P 200 Grain, which I did post a thread with the expansion photos I got shooting them in the mud. The Glocks I have of course love the Speers which you should test cause the Speers have HUGE hollow point in them.

Just ordered the same holster for my 1911. Bianchi makes some nice stuff! Love the leather smell.

I have a G27 and it fits ever so sweetly on my hip. :4_8_4v: of the day I get to use it on some boot licking blackwater types....

Usually they offer Tan or Black. I like the tan cause I like that old school cowboy look. :wink:

Mine is OD Green and I ordered it from Topglock. I ordered 2 at the same time. The 30 SF took a long time cause it was when it first came out so the demand was huge but they have great prices and ship to the FFL of your choice.

Nice Glock.

It's ironic that soldiers in the middle of a war can't have pistols shipped directly to them. Never mind actually getting to carry the thing.

last time i wore a belt holster i had to put on suspenders.

Being it was in your "back yard" before you moved South, I would bet you have been to the US facility. It was on m list of places to go when I was in Atlanta. :)

Well yeah but he said that he ordered it in Iraq. I probably misunderstood, probably meant he ordered it while in Iraq.

Smyrna is in Cobb County, north of metro Atlanta. For my last 17 years in the area I lived in east Cobb County, about 15 miles away from Smyrna. I bought most of my pistols, including this Glock 27, from Adventure Outdoors, just around the corner from Glock, USA.

I could venture a pretty good guess- Glock 27 in 40 S&W. 10 rounds, 9 clip and 1 in the chamber. If that's not enough, chances are pretty good that you are screwed.

Sorry for the late reply, my damn work blocks all thes good sites! But yeah, I ordered the Glock while in Iraq and it sat at the dealer until I got back. And the gun is indeed made in Austria. I would love to tour the Glock facility. Any probs with the Glock you can send it to GA and they will handle it free of charge.

Driller,

Get a belt from Beltman and the problem will go away. I used a normal belt prior to ordering the one from Beltman and then got the belt from them and what a difference!

Ive had the guns for awhile just brought it out of hiding recently, lol. I got the 30SF on backorder before they released them as I knew I had time to wait so I didnt care, it was kinda like ordering silver from NWTM!!
